About Us

Thank you for visiting our corner of the internet.

Our goal here is to provide the kind of reading that you can enjoy while curled up on the couch on those rainy, lazy Saturdays. Not content with mere paragraphs, we hope to provide you deep, introspective prose writing that covers the Christian faith, pop culture, hobbies, and daily life struggles (think grantland.com but with a focus on faith). It's a volunteer effort at this time.

Just keep in mind that we do not officially represent Catholicism or any other Christian Denomination.

So, why the name Titus? Good question: We take our name from Blessed Titus Brandsma, a priest who was martyred at the hands of Nazis in World War II. Since the focus of our web site is deep, insightful prose, we found it fitting to take the name of a priest who was put in charge of more than 30 Catholic newspapers in the Netherlands. We think he'd be happy with a merry band of Christians who love to write about faith and culture, and it's a small way to honor this man of great faith.

I really hope you enjoy what you read at Titus Among Us. It's a project I was kicking around for a few months before it launched, and was ready to dismiss the idea as mere whimsy until I got an outpouring of people who would be interested in this idea. So I thank my fellow contributors and readers for making this happen. If you like it, share the articles with your friends. And if you don't like it, well, let's just keep that our little secret.

God bless you all,
Dustin Faber

P.S. We are always looking for contributors. If you have what it takes to write 800+ word articles at least once a month, send us an email with your contact information and what topics you'd like to write about each month.
